The aim of this manual is to provide guidance to amateur radio operators and military radio operators on the operational aspect of the Canadian Forces Affiliate Radio System (CFARS).
The manual establishes standard methods and procedures. It outlines responsibilities and formalizes the aim, functions, organization and support of the CFARS.
The CFARS Communication Instructions are intended as standard in-station practices and procedures for all CFARS stations, and individual military and civilian CFARS members.
